Capitol Tours
Welcome to the Alaska Capitol. We have three tour options for you to choose from during the summer tourism season.
GUIDED TOURS
For 2024, free guided tours are available Monday to Friday at 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM from June 3 to September 27 (no tours on July 4 and September 2).
Tours are hosted by volunteers from the City of Juneau Museum and are available by signing up on the day of the tour in the lobby of the Capitol.
Guided tours are approximately 60 minutes in duration.
Self-GUIDED Audio TOURS
Tour the capitol at your own pace and hear about the history of the building at six audio-tour stops.
Depending on pace, self-guided tours can last 45 to 180 minutes.
Audio programming is approximately 30 minutes.
